Designed with the love of the outdoors in mind, this handmade quilted vest is a statement piece that tells a story. The front combines familiar plaid with black suede and quilting to create a “puffer vest” design. Functional pockets are made from log cabin quilt blocks. The back showcases four traditional log cabin quilt blocks combined to create a geometrical design. I securely attached the quilt block with a raw edge applique technique to leave rustic fraying of the fabric.
